This Solar Powered opener will move a very heavy gate. It is also one of the few Solar Powered openers that can be used to open a gate that is hanging next to a brick column (actuator style arms can't be mounted without breaking the column). The Apollo 1k board offers a plethora of features: on board 7 day timer, 2 configurable inputs and 2 configurable outputs (turn lights on while gate is moving, etc.), multi-channel remote reciever (have remotes that work all the time and remotes that work only during daylight hours, or have one master remote that can lock all other remote controls out, etc.), Solar regulated charging, and very low power draw while not in use. $4000 installed. 2 year warranty
