This Video clip looks at a multiplication method that uses the idea of a third number - a base number - to help learners multiply two numbers. Eventually in their head. It's called the Base Method of Multiplication Like most skills, practice is important - the more learners practice the easier it becomes. This is the first of two video clips looking at multiplying numbers near 10 using Base 10.
