There are people who call themselves Preterists, who want to take away your Bible. They are cessationist, they believe "everything" ended in AD 70. And I mean everything, which includes, salvation, sin, spiritual death, the Church, the Law. It was all about Israel, and it all ended in AD 70. There is nothing that applies to us today.
