He was so angry that they he began to perspire and raise his voice (it was very distracting), and Les could see the veins. Les asked, "how long ago was this", "15 years ago!", he replied "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" Les Brown couldn't believe it. Something that is very important to life is that life happens to all of us. Les Brown believes "Let go, or be dragged." Because Les' friend was unwilling to let that go it drug him down into depression, hopelessness, bitterness. Things happen to all of us, but Les firmly believes "that what matters most is in you." When they happen, they can make you better, or they can make you bitter."
