Stranger things is a netflix original drama that takes place in a small town in the year 1983. The story follows several people from the town and how they affected by top secret government experiments that involve supernatural forces. This show is now extremely popular and it intentionally mimics everything from the 1970’s and 80’s that has to do with horror, science fiction and fantasy. You’ll easily notice traces of The Goonies, E.T, Stand By Me, Poltergeist and Alien. There is much more to this series as well, including the fact that it’s inspired by actual events known as the Montauk Project.
