Three of the four cruise ships that departed from Southampton Docks on Saturday 11th August 2012 returned two weeks later on Saturday 25th. Princess Cruises's "Grand Princess" was this time docked in Berth 106, The 'Mayflower' Terminal whilst Royal Caribbean International's "Independence of the Seas" was at Berth 101, The 'City' Terminal and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines's "Balmoral" was at Berth 38/9, The 'QEII' Terminal. The fourth and final ship in on the 25th was "Grand Princess's" fleet-mate "Caribbean Princess" docked in Berth 46, The 'Ocean' Terminal. "Grand Princess" was originally booked to depart at 16:00 but was delayed whilst the Container Ship "APL Chongqing" arrived. "Independence of the Seas" therefore departed first just before 16:30 and was followed soon after by "Balmoral" once "Independence" had sailed passed her. "Grand Princess" left around the same time as "Balmoral" and after turning around, she sailed back down past the Town Quay and "Caribbean Princess", although unfortunately, the two ships did not salute one another. "Caribbean Princess" then departed around 17:30.
