"Aurora", "Adonia" & "Balmoral" depart from Southampton - 04/01/2015

The first big gathering of Cruise Ships in Southampton Docks in 2015 took place on Sunday 4th January with three vessels in port. The first to depart was P&O Cruises' newly-refitted "Aurora" from the 'QEII Terminal' at 16:27 heading on a 4-night Cruise Break to Amsterdam and Zeebrugge, returning to Southampton on Thursday 8th in readiness for her World Cruise. The second to depart was another P&O Cruises ship - "Adonia" (still supporting the old corporate livery) from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 16:56 heading on an 18-night Transatlantic voyage to Barbados before doing her Winter Cruises in the Caribbean. She will return to Southampton on Saturday 4th April. The third and final ship to depart was Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Balmoral" from the 'City' Terminal at 17:13 heading on her 119-night World Cruise to the Far East, returning to Southampton on Sunday 3rd May. Viewed from the Town Quay.
