SOUNDBITE (English) Mary Beth Crocker: "This trip is really important to us, we''re history buffs and we love the Titanic of course, but it''s also our honeymoon. And we''ve been asked several times what our favourite part of the trip will be and we think it will probably be the memorial service which will be very moving and monumental." 3. Mid shot following Mary Beth Crocker and her husband Tom Dearing as walk along the dock in Cobh STORYLINE A century after the Titanic went down in the North Atlantic Ocean, passengers on board the MS Balmoral Titanic memorial cruise arrived at the first port in their journey, Cobh in Ireland, on Monday, 9 April. The cruise departed from the British port of Southampton on Sunday 8 April, with the same number of passengers on board as there were on the original cruise. The 12-night cruise marked the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the White Star liner and the MS Balmoral will follow the same route as her predecessor. Americans Mary Beth Crocker and her husband Tom Dearing, from Newport Kentucky, wore period costume as they disembarked from the ship. Mary Beth Crocker explained her enthusiasm by saying, "This trip is really important to us, we''re history buffs and we love the Titanic of course, but it''s also our honeymoon." The passengers on board the MS Balmoral will visit the location where the Titanic sank as part of the voyage.
