Daily Routine in my Choice Based Art Classroom

The is a video of our daily routine in my choice-based art classroom. We gather up on the rug at the front of the room for a short discussion or demonstration on an art topic (around 5-10 minutes). Students then select where they would like to work and head off to work independently ( around 25). Clean-up (5 minutes) follows with students heading back to the rug. For the last part of the class period students share about their artwork with their classmates (10 minutes) before preparing to leave with their teacher.
