Tempera Paint Gelli Prints

submitted by amksmit on 08/13/16 1

This is the method I used to do Gelli printing with my 4th graders. 1. We cut poster board shapes and pieces of yarn. 2. We taped our papers to "register them". 3. We inked the plate with tempera paint and placed the shapes. 4. We rubbed the first paper. 5. We removed the shapes and rubbed the ghost image to clean the plate. 6. Repeat until you like your print!
