www.vergieconditioning.com Glenn Vergie talks about how you can learn to run faster, or teach your child to run faster with a couple running tips for any sport, be it soccer, football, basketball, or baseball. First, make sure both arms are travelling cheek to cheek. This will ensure that you gain forward momentum, your knees will come up and you will accelerate. Second, the point of running isn't to cover as much distance in one stride as possible, this actually impedes good running form or good running technique by having you land on the wrong part of the foot. Shorter strides allow you to hit the balls of your foot so you can push off multiple times and gain speed quickly. Thirdly, make sure you're bending your arms and legs and are not stiff! To be explosive, agile and quick, the joints need to be mobile to create movement and momentum. So, these were Glenn vergie's running tips, so that next time you're out for a marathon, or out for the gold metal match, you can ace it no problem.
