Part 3 of my Friday four in a row outings block. In this episode I make another visit to Merseyside. Once I get there I complete the Northern section of the Merseyrail Northern Line by going to Ormskirk and Kirkby. I then sightsee in Liverpool city centre, film Lime Street station, visit the seaside at New Brighton and film Birkenhead North station. The Journey coming back was noisy because after Manchester a couple of stag do's were on the train and once I arrived at Chester-le-Street at 2345 the train was heaving when it left. This episode was filmed at the time when the RMT Union had announced strike days on Network Rail on the day of my next video diary but a few days later they were called off and my next outing was back on track.
