Residents of Yorkshire and Lancashire are being asked to keep a look out for SAM, a toy dog, who was launched into space by school children from Morecambe Bay Community School. What began as a science experiment is now being discussed all over the world after the toy became detached from the helium balloon that was providing his transit into the skies above.
