The unusually wet winter, combined with funding cuts to the repair budget, has lead to an increase of potholes on county roads. Drivers have complained of serious damage to their cars caused by bumpy road surfaces. But repairs are now underway, as 29 outside teams join 24 of Lancashire County Councils own to tackle the backlog.
