Astronomers and star gazer hobbyists will all be out staring into the night sky tonight, as the Sun, Mercury and the Earth all line up in a phenomenon that occurs less than 20 times in a hundred years. The unusual space spectacle will be visible, weather permitting, for over 7 hours, but you will need a telescope in order to witness it first hand.
