Figures released by the Office of National Statisitics show UK unemployment fell to 1.69 million people between January and March this year. Almost 32 million people are in work, that's an increase of 44,000 from the previous quarter, resulting in a record high employment rate of 74.2%. AMANDA JAKEMAN, is an employer and partnership manager, she says the figures are a great result for Lancashire.
