No parade for Preston Carnival - Lancashire Headline News

Rehearsals are underway for this years 'Caribbean Carnival' in Preston. The local event has traditionally included a parade featuring traditional costumes, and dance performances. But after 42 years, organisers were told that the parade through the city would not go ahead, in its place, a static event will be presented at the flag market.
