The Captain of a ship that ran aground in Fleetwood has admitted sailing a vessel while over the alcohol limit after it ran aground in the River Wyre. MICHAEL McKeechan, from York, was in charge of 'The Corentine', when it ran aground on a sand bank known locally as 'The Tiger's Tail'. 'Fleetwood Inshore Lifeboat' and the 'Fleetwood Coastguard' rescued 5 men from the vessel, after it was grounded shortly before 01:00AM on Tuesday morning.
