NIGEL EVANS, The MP for Ribble Valley, has asked the government to 'step in' with regard to the withdrawal of bus services in Sabden. Residents say they've been left stranded after TRANSDEV axed their service, following an end to subsidies from Lancashire County Council. A meeting between county hall, protesters and Ribble Valley Council has been arranged in the next two weeks. But campaigner PAUL McKENNA isn't hopeful that a deal will be reached...
