The rainbow flag is flying at half mast over Blackpool Town Hall, and tonight The Tower will be illuminated in rainbow colours, as a tribute to the victims of the tragic shooting in Orlando. On Sunday morning at 2am a 29 year old man opened fire with an assault rifle in a gay nightclub in the US city. OMAR MATEEN killed 50 people and wounded 53 more, in the deadliest mass shooting in recent US history, before being shot dead himself by police. The tragedy has once again ignited the debate of gun ownership laws in America, with President BARACK OBAMA saying it is a reminder of how easy it is for Americans to acquire guns.
