Students at Whalley Church of England Primary School are sharpening their pencils and brushing up on their vocabulary, in preparation for a special assignment exploring the winter floods, and the affects they have had on the community. Throughout June and July, pupils in Reception to Year 4 classes, will work with the Ribble Rivers Trust and local writer Steve Fairclough to create poetry, scripts, and performances, that will become a permanent record of the dramatic events last winter.
