Me along with MLAs Digamber Kamat, Rohan Khavante, Naresh Sawal, Reginald Lourenco , Babu Kavlekar and ex MLA Babu Azgaonkar and members of the newly launched regional party, Goa Forward Party including Goa Forward State Secretary Mohandas Lolienkar, Prashant Naik and Nissar Subedar along with the people of Amdai, Sanguem visited the site where coconut trees which have been recently declassified as trees have been cut to facilitate the construction of the proposed brewery and distillery Vani Agro in Amdai Sanguem. The people of the village are firm in their stand that they unanimously oppose the said brewery and distillery and also the mass cutting of coconut trees.
