Clay Millican - Return of a Dynasty
www.coreymichalek.com/2010/09/13/clay-millican-return-of-a-dynasty/ After spending a year away from the track, 6-time Top Fuel World Champion Clay Millican returns to his 320mph racecar to take on the best drivers in the world in the National Hot Rod Association at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pennsylvania. I compiled this promo video from the clips that I took during my trip to ZMAX Dragway in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2009. I went down to this race in order to gather footage for a documentary film class that I was in at Ohio University, but after returning I found out that I had some technical problems and the audio that I recorded was erased. This left me unable to use anything that I had from the race for my project. I was determined to put the footage that I had to use so that I could at least hand something off to Clay, and when I heard that he was making his comeback to run the final races of the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity.
