FINALIST Camerimage Best Cinematography 2013 A War Story is a short period drama set in the heart of the home front during the First World War. 19 year old Alexander signs up to fight for 'his' country, which sparks a feud between his passionate German grandfather and his proud British mother. A tale of compassion and poignant historical truths, A War Story features fantastic production values all shot on location in Caithness, Scotland. 2014 marks the centenary anniversary of WW1, we hope that 'A War Story' reflects a fitting memento as the world reflects on one of the most devastating and poignant moments in history.
