Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, discusses the Paris Agreement with Nicolas Chapuis, Ambassador of France to Canada. CATHERINE MCKENNA (Minister of Environment and Climate Change): So, Ambassador Chapuis, France played a key role in COP21. How will we continue to work together to keep the dynamic going? NICOLAS CHAPUIS (French Ambassador to Canada): First, by signing the Paris Agreement on April 22 in New York. And by leading the way for all those who are now wondering how to implement the agreement. And I believe the best way forward is to do what Canada has done under your leadership, which is to develop concrete measures that people can relate to and get behind to make the energy transition to enhance climate action. CATHERINE MCKENNA: Thank you. We’ll do that together.
