We had to cut out the old mounting system and totally start from scratch. Drilled a hole in the hard hat, mounted the fan, added a bit of electronics magic (goo.gl/O6P0S), remounted the freaky head to the hard hat, then sealed the hole in Freaky's head and plugged in the 9volts and off we went to stay cool in the sun.
