Jerry Heller: NWA Biopic Scene Where I Signed Eazy-E is Untrue

submitted by Drop Studios on 06/18/16 1

www.vladtv.com - Former World Class Wreckin' Cru musician Cli-N-Tel called into the Murder Master Music Show recently and chopped it up with longtime friend, Jerry Heller. Both men had a strong influence on West Coast hip-hop dating decades back, so naturally when speaking on N.W.A., the two had a lot to share. During the convo, Jerry and Cli-N-Tel talked about the grievances they have with Straight Outta Compton, the N.W.A. biopic that (according to them) didn't include enough. Heller says he funded the majority of projects during the early days of N.W.A., because although "Eazy had money, he didn't have that kind of money." They also detail how Eazy-E was a family man and an "incredible philanthropist" as Heller puts it, though we didn't get to see that in the film. Press play for more.
