www.vladtv.com - "I think what defines homosexuality or being gay, in my opinion, is having emotions for the same sex. Physical acts don't necessarily put you in a box." Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood reality star, Milan Christopher says that there are double standards when men consider themselves bisexual versus women, which eventually leads gay men to hide their relationships and use women as "beards." "The problem I have in our culture, in general, is the moment a person sleeps with a man, even if they still like women they're considered gay." says the aspiring rapper, "It's no in between, it's no gray area." As he revealed his 2 1/2 year relationship with LHHH castmate, Miles Brock—also an aspiring rapper who struggled to reveal his sexuality to his ex-girlfriend and sisters—Milan says that there are plenty of men in the industry living double lives. "I would love for people to come out... but it's not that easy." He tells us, "If these people have been living straight a straight life for x amount of years and comes out as gay, how many people would be hurt in the process of that?" He explained that he carries on secret friendships with people to prevent from destroying their career. "I have friends [who are] 195% straight and we don't follow each other on Instagram, we don't follow each other on twitter. We don't tweet each other we don't text each other publicly and you have to respect that because these people worked hard for their careers." During the interview Milan adds that some men created their bands based off of living a heterosexual lifestyle and eventually decide to remain "on the down low" for their image and to prevent hurting their spouses in the process. Milan name Keeping with the Kardashians reality star Kris Jenner as an example to living with Bruce Jenner who recently transitioned into Caitlyn Jenner early this year, "I can only imagine how Kris Jenner feels after having children and invested in someone and he just woke up one day and said 'hey, this is who I am. I've been hiding this' and became a woman.'" He says those decisions are hard and suggests people should either be up front and own their truths from the beginning.
