Rapper Paul Wall sat down with DJ Vlad to talk about his successful business selling grillz and says the demands are still high, even though he's pleased it's gone underground. The Houston native says he didn't mind the financial benefits from its popularity, but admits that it became "corny" once it went mainstream. Paul told DJ Vlad, "I was happy that it was mainstream because we [were] getting the mainstream grillz checks. We were selling between 400 to 450 grillz a day." Although he found so much success designing his grillz for A-list celebrities, he says he found relief when the popularity died down. "But definitely, it do get corny after a while. It's an underground type of thing. It's not for the mainstream, so I was pleased when it returned to the underground." Check out the interview above.
