After reading The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, each class created a book trailer meant to entice the viewer to read the book. For this project, the students first worked in small groups to write scripts for each pivotal piece of the book. The class then switched into creative groups, as directors, assistant directors, camera operators, video editors, and actors. Each group had a number of responsibilities that contributed to the development of the video. The final production was a truly collaborative venture.
