A location on my bucket list for a while, half way up Cadair Bronwen mountain in the Berwyn Hills, above Llandrillo, on about the 1400 ft contour. Cadair is sometimes spelt Cader. There is a little conifer plantation right out in the middle of the moorland aside a stream known as Clochnant. The woodland appears unnamed, so I refer to it as Clochnant Plantation. A cracking spot when the sun shines with great views of Cadair Idris and the Snowdon peaks, the Arans and Bala Lake.
