The Magnificent Torr Head

submitted by uklmhb on 05/24/16 1

This is some video footage I filmed around Torr Head County Antrim in Northern Ireland in April 2007, the video does not to the scenery justice, only with your own eves can you really appreciate the magnificent views. Pointing out into the Irish sea, Torr Head is a magnificent view. It has an lookout building on it's peak which I believe was used during the war. This gives you an indication of the scope of the views which you can obtain from this point. In the first century the hill was occupied by a fort - Dunwarry. In the distance you can see the east side of Rathlin Island and on a clear day like this the Mull of Kintyre.
