Whilst on a client trip to the beautiful Orkney Islands in April 2015, I wanted to see one unique place above all else, The Old Man of Hoy. Having crossed over on the foot ferry from Stromness I opted to walk the entire way from Moaness through the Rackwick glen valley and down to Rackwick bay, round the headland to see the Old Man. I was truly blessed that day with settled bright sunny conditions, ideal for some flying. I was even more fortunate to hear of some climbers who where climbing that day; so not only did I manage to fly over and around the sea stack but the gods must have been on my side as the climbers had summited the stack as I was flying over!. Well what a day it was..a fantastic hike, perfect flying conditions and footage of climbers resting atop the Old Man, could not have asked for a better day. Enjoy..
