Glaucous Gull (Larus hyperboreus) at Balranald RSPB, on North Uist, Outer Hebrides, Scotland, United Kingdom, 1st March 2013/ This 1st-winter bird showed well on the beach around 200 metres north of the drake Harlequin Duck (a rare visitor to the UK).
