A Weekend in the Peak District With a walk over Kinder Scout. As you can see, we had a very dry summer, the River Kinder and the falls at Kinder Downfall were just a trickle and even the bogs on Edale Moor were not too bad. You can see the plastic dams put in by the park rangers to help keep the peat moist. Fabulous walk, some tough scrambling (for me) and falling flat on my face in the boggy bits.
