Donald Trump has declared with great certainty that the missing EgyptAir plane was “blown out of the sky.” The plane disappeared yesterday and it appears to have crashed, though earlier reports saying the wreckage had been found turned out to be false. During a New Jersey campaign event earlier tonight, Trump was riffing on Hillary Clinton when he said she clearly doesn’t understand terrorism and brought up the plane. He said, “What just happened about 12 hours ago? A plane got blown out of the sky, and if anybody thinks it wasn’t blown out of the sky, you’re 100 percent wrong, folks.” Trump capped it off by bringing up how someone on TV praised him today.
