On the 11th July 2015, I decided to explore a series of locations on the loop line via Weedon that bypasses Northampton on the West Coast Mainline. The aim was also to film the two Caledonian Sleeper workings. Also filmed whilst out for 57310 and 57305 working an 'ECS Movement', (see my uploads for footage of this). Class 390's, Class 350's, Class 221's, a Class 66 and Class 92's feature from operating company's Virgin, London Midland Trains, DRS and Scotrail. Locations in order of appearance include; Roade cutting, Milton Malsor, Blisworth, Blisworth Bridge, Blisworth Marina, Bugbrooke and Weedon Bec. In order of appearance at Roade cutting; DRS Class 66, No. 66433 heads north working a Purfleet - Daventry intermodal and Scotrail Class 92, No. 92033 heads south working the 1M11 Glasgow Central - London Euston caledonian sleeper.
