The Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway re-created the 'Surrey Border & Camberley Railway' (which was closed because of World War Two and wasn't re-opened afterwards) over the weekend of June 8th & 9th. In action were four of the original 'Bullock' 4-6-2 locomotives Nos.1001 "The Monarch", 1002 "The Empress", 2005 "Silver Jubilee" & 2006 "Edward VIII". Visiting the railway from the Kerr's Miniature Railway in Scotland was ex-SBCR 0-6-0 No.3007 "Firefly" which spent the Saturday double-heading with "The Monarch". At the end of the day were two parallel runs with "Firefly", "The Monarch" & "The Empress" working on one train and with "Silver Jubilee" & "Edward VIII" working the other. This video has been specially edited to show all the locos working in separate groups (as "The Empress", "Silver Jubilee" & "Edward VIII" all carry the same livery). They appear in the following order... 1. Nos.3007 "Firefly" & 1001 "The Monarch". 2. No.1002 "The Empress". 3. No.2005 "Silver Jubilee". 4. No.2006 "Edward VIII". 5. Parallel Running with all five locomotives.
