The 10¼" gauge Surrey Border & Camberley Railway was one of the most ambitious miniature railways ever constructed. Opened in 1938, it ran between Farnborough and Camberley on the Hampshire/Surrey border, and was operated by a fleet of steam locomotives, most built by HCS Bullock. Sadly the railway closed on the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 and, heavily in debt, it never reopened. Over the weekend of 8-9th June 2013, the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway held a SB&CR revival weekend, reuniting three of the SB&CR locomotives and another two locomotives built by HCS Bullock.
