Chubby Checker - Back in the U.S.S.R. Chubby Checker's 1969 cover of the Beatles' "Back in the U.S.S.R." which landed on the Billboard Top 100 at #82. Coincidentally, his next chart appearance wouldn't arrive until 1982.
