This golden-headed langur is hardly ever seen, as less than 60 specimens are believed to endure in the wild, although it is the topic of a well-organised preservation programme; the Cat Ba Langur Preservation Program, a worldwide NGO that has its workplace at the National Park Head Quarters. The Park covers both land and aquatic locations and has a high biodiversity, although it is at danger from too quick a boost in tourist.
