Lecturer : Paul Nation Paul Nation is emeritus professor of Applied Linguistics at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. His special interests are language teaching, and methodology and vocabulary learning. Abstract : Reading at a reasonable speed, or reading fluently, is an important goal for second language learners. The seminar shows the nature of speed reading, how to run a speed reading course, and how to help their learners increase their reading speed.
