Martin Scorsese on Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey and D. W. Griffith

submitted by Vera Greif on 04/17/16 1

I have been working on an idea, an editing project idea if you will, of a 15-minute video essay documenting all of D. W. Griffith's important contributions to the craft of filmmaking that survive to this day and have formed the basic grammar and lexicon of filmmaking. IF I ever get around to doing it, I'll post it on my channel. Until then, watch one of the greatest film historians and most vocal film lovers of all time, Scorsese, share his thoughts on two of the most instrumental filmmakers of the twentieth century.
