3D Printing Tutorial - ShapeShifter.io Design and Print

submitted by sketchup_archive on 04/15/16 1

I'm going to show you how to use a free web app called ShapeShifter.io to design and print a vase, ring, or bracelet. We're not going to use SketchUp in this tutorial, but this app was too cool not to share. Using simple parametric sliders, you can customize your own model and download the STL file for printing. I also walk you through the process of slicing the model, what to watch out for, and you'll see the careful observation of the first few critical layers of the print. If you've got a 3D printer, this will be a fun tutorial for you. ★ MY PRINTER ★ MendelMax 3 www.makerstoolworks.com ★★★ MY BOOK ★★★ SketchUp to LayOut - www.SketchuptoLayout.com ★ SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL ★ youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=mastersketchupdotcom ★ FOLLOW ME ★ Tutorials & Videos - www.mastersketchup.com Facebook - www.facebook.com/mastersketchup Twitter - www.twitter.com/mastersketchup Google+ - plus.google.com/117179287519297974444/ ★ MORE SKETCHUP RESOURCES ★ www.mastersketchup.com/resources
