'Capriccio' Elizabeta Ilievska-Bete

The annual event 'Days of Macedonian Music 2011', organized by the Association of Composers of Macedonia -- SOCOM, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Culture, was held from March 21st to 30th in Skopje. At the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra concert on March 24th, for the first time in the 66 years that the orchestra has existed, they performed a composition with an accordion soloist. The conductor was Sasha Nikolovski--Gjumar. The composition titled 'Capriccio' by Elizabeta Ilievska-Bete, received excellent critical acclaim. The accordion solo was performed by Bojan Volcevski, a student of Prof. Zorica Karakutovska at the Faculty of Music Skopje.
