Victims of a map

submitted by casalsdomo on 03/10/16 2

This piece stems from an interest in the notion of intuitive music, a type of process music where instead of a traditional score verbal instructions are provided. Victims of a Map is based on a group of five combinations of images, separated by black intermissions that refer to the corresponding lines of the following poem: “Here on the slopes of hills, facing the dusk and the cannon of time Close to the gardens of broken shadows, We do what prisoners do, And what the jobless do: We cultivate hope.”
