NewCo Ferronikeli, owned by Dutch-based international mining and metals company Cunico Resources NV, is accused of failing to record emissions and provide protection for its workers. In the town of Glogovac - some 40 kilometres (30 miles) west of the capital Pristina where the nickel company is located, environment officials, like Vehbi Ejupi, recently met with the company''''s management and looked for breaches of the deal.
