English/Nat Eight hundred elite British soldiers from the First Battalion of the Parachute Regiment were air lifted into Pristina, on Sunday. The soldiers, each carrying 150lb (75kilos) of equipment, looked surprised by the cheers they received from the remaining ethnic-Albanians, who greeted them with cheers. The paratroopers arrived in trucks and Chinook helicopters. More paratroopers are expected in and around Pristina later, as U-S Marines begin to relieve the British Paras in southern Kosovo.
