From 5302 settlements in Bulgaria 1174 are with less than 50 inhabitants, old people only. Every year many villages are removed from the map of Bulgaria and they become so called "Ghost Villages". Whole regions which were economical centres before are now uninhabited. Deep in the country there are almost no young people and they had all gone to live in Sofia or in West Europe. The Authorities in Bulgaria do not see any chance to cope with the demographic catastrophy in the country...
