Take a tour of Old Bridge of Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats. The Stari Most, or "Old Bridge", provides a beautiful centerpiece to the town of Mostar. The bridge was built in 16th century and comprised the world's widest arch at the time. There is a longstanding tradition of local young men diving from the bridge's peak. Sadly, the original bridge was destroyed in the Bosnian War and has been reconstructed. Two towers, the "bridge keepers", watch over the bridge from either side of its length. The Old Bridge offers excellent views of the beautiful blue waters of the Neretva River.
